Sun visors

The black dots OP Spiro was complaining, that black area where those dot's blend in to solid black frame is known as a FRIT and it is there to protect the window - frame bonding polyurethane mass from sun UV rays etc as direct exposure to sun light decays the polyurethane bonding.
The frit is not there to stop sun blinding the driver or anyone else in the car so in away, misunderstood design have lead someone believe something it was not intended to do.
Like others already said, tint strip helps...

You guys are pitiful. Someone says something that detracts from your misguided image of perfection and you can't handle it.
Many of those cars someone mentioned have touch screens. One button allows the presets to come up on the touch screen and boom, you can choose your radio station. No dialing up and down.

Touch screen means you have to raise your hand up to the screen to select the presets, its much easier to rest your elbow on the arm rest and use the dial. Also, I hate the finger prints on the touch screen.

The adaption period to a new set of controls is pretty quick. Every car I've owned has handled radio presets differently. None better than the next, just different. It really doesn't matter.
Still... preset buttons would have been nice.
