When you guys take your Q5 to get detailed, do they classify it as an SUV or station wagon? My guy charges $145 for exterior wash/wax for station wagons and $165 for SUVs and minivans. He insists the Q5 is an SUV and not a station wagon even though it's closer in size to say, a Dodge Magnum than a Dodge Caravan. Just looking for a good argument I can use to save $20.

I'm in NJ and my registration classifies it as a "wagon". There is no SUV classification. Next level up is "truck". They classified my old Chevy S10 Blazer as a wagon too. But as a driver of a Q5, I'd never say I drive a station wagon.

The allroad is a wagon, the Q5 is an SUV. Both on the same chassis.
