Swapping Tires - being told void CPO
#21
I have Conti DWS on my '14 SQ5.
I found them to be incredibly noisy for the 1st 15K miles...after that they quieted down tremendously.
As a 3-season tire, I think they are great...but I'll be looking out for a replacement that's quieter.

However, my other all-season have always been quieter than my winter tire. A lot quieter.

Update on the Nitto 421Q all season. Just had a visit up to Bend Oregon where there was plenty of snow on the ground already, and then received an additional 4 inches of snow. Coupled with cold temps in the teens one day, I was curious about how the Nitto's would handle. And the verdict is they handled brilliantly. Had tire chains with me ready to install while driving through Mt. Shasta, but was never forced to install them.
Actually sought out some parking lots covered in snow, and even rough snow banked locations, and nothing seemed to phase the SQ5 with the all season Nitto's. So quite pleased and would have no problem recommending, especially for their price, and the dry handling performance too.
