Default Tranmission Fluid

Hi All,

Off lately I have been working on my Car and part of it is question about Transmission Fluid . I have a new 2013 Audi Q5 ( 36K miles ) . I am wanting to change Transmission Fluid . I have few questions on which input from people will be helpful . I intend to keep my car for a longer period

1.) Is Transmission Fluid Change or Flush required, If Yes
a.) Change of Flush ? ( I have heard that Transmission Flush is very risky because of Sludge etc. )

2.) Which is the OEM Manufacturer of Audi Transmission Fluid ( I have heard it's ZF ). Which is the best Aftermarket ATF Brand for Audi .

3.) How much do you quantity you need if you are just changing the transmission fluid .

I was looking over the service intervals on my SQ5 the other day and it made no mention of changing or flushing the trans. It just says to top it off.

ZF8 Transmission- NOT Lifetime fluid

TLDR; ZF recommends drain and fill intervals of 8 years or 60k miles with a filter change. Use OE or Lifeguard Fluid 8.
