ThunderDent: people who aren't from the boonies usually keep their cars and houses locked

Just joking with you When I first saw WV I assumed boonies, but on Google Maps it looks like Huntington is actually pretty populated around the river. Not much else away from the water though...

It's the same base, with or without a physical keyblade inserted (but yes, Audi does still use the switchblade; not all vehicles use wireless communication with the fob, at least yet).

Yeah, there is a lot of WV that is in the boonies for sure.

The immediate area I live in (Tri-State WV, KY, OH) is about 300,000-- and going up the interstate to the capitol in Charleston adds another 300K+. The 2 cities are so close it's like a mini DFW.

650K for the region (45 min drive from end-to-end). Not huge, but not the boonies.

This is a great solution for us privileged folk who have the advanced key because we rarely have to press any buttons on the fob!

Can't you lock it out through the MMI? or does that just disable the actual button on the trunk lid?

The '13 key is larger than the '09 - '12 key. Seems like third party manufacturers will have to catch up.

There are a few things like that - really struggling to get mud flaps to fit the s-line 3.0T bodywork. Seems not available anywhere.
