Update about Bluetooth Streaming
After calling Audi directly, they told me they are working seriously on getting the 3G MMI to stream over bluetooth. Hopefully its coming soon. I cant believe its taken this long.

Direct streaming would be AWESOME. No more cables, SD cards, USB drives, just sync your devices and away you go! How far we have come in such a short time - my first car's stereo system (1984) brings a smile and fond memories, it just had a cassette player and I hooked up a little equalizer-amp to boost the volume. What we have now, in comparison, is almost unbelievable!

iPhone and Q5
Just ran some tests with my iPhone and the included cable. When I first plug it in, I get the incompatible message, but it ran fine and charged the iPhone. However, it will only play the music stored on the iPhone (in ipod mode), and it will not play any of the music apps such as Pandora or Slacker. I had Slacker open, it was streaming, but only the stored music was playing through the Q speakers. If I pause/play on Slacker, I will get about two seconds of the song, then the Q5 switches back to the iPhone stored music. Same with Pandora.
So, its either get the Audi speaker cable adapter, or hopefully they get streaming Bluetooth working soon.

iPhone streaming music
Any more information if there will be an update to stream music via bluetooth?
I just tested my iPhone with the included mmi cable. The Audi will only play the internal music from ipod mode on the car's speakers. If I run Pandora or Slacker, it will play for about two seconds and then switch back to playing stored music. Even though its still streaming music and the app is open, only "ipod mode" comes across the speakers. Looks like if they don't add bluetooth streaming, will have to get the optional cable to plug into the iPhone's headphone jack.
