Just checked: both 2GB SD card AND 4GB SDHC worked in our 2010 Q5 with Bang and Olufsen - it DOES NOT have NAV.

Last word was on this forum was SDHC didn't work, but SanDIsc SDHC worked just fine.
I used WMA lossless format. Will experiment more tomorow w/ more complex music and update on sound quality.

Just a note - the SDHC cards do not work on the older B7 platforms. Glad to hear that it has been fixed for the new vehicles

2010 Q5, I have tried cards from my cameras and they all functioned fine, 2G, 4G 8G 16G and 32G. They are a mix of SanDisk and AData.

I'm having problems load songs onto the SD card. It's stops all the time during half way.

This is at your computer, right? So not really a Q5 issue?
I had the same - bought a nice big (16 GB) SDHC card and went to "drag and drop" the whole I-tunes library onto it, with the card inserted into the card-reader that is an integral part of my (new Dell) laptop. Stopped part-way through every time, unless I selected only a small number of songs each time.
I ended up using a SanDisk SDHC-USB adaptor that had been a freebie with the sale of SDHC cards when they were first released, and that was fine. No issues with the Q5 Symphony radio (non-nav) reading that card!

Ya, it was a computer issue. But I did some searching a found that you have to create sub-directory folder on your SD card. Once that was done, every song loaded fine onto the SD card.

Just wanted to throw my .02 in here in case anyone runs into this issue.

I have a '13 Q5 without navi and was using the SD card reader for music and found out you can only have up to 512 songs per folder. It took some tinkering to figure out this was the issue.

It's 2013 and i cant believe it's only reading 512 per folder. Ridiculous.
