will be interesting once an SQ5 lands in the US, but that one on the floor in Ingolstadt doesn't look to be low to me. It looks great though! Can't wait for ours to arrive in September!

ETA is September, so I'll likely keep the jacked suspension for the winter and lower it in the spring.
I will *not* be going the Stasis route though, as I don't find such a large drop appealing.

STaSIS suspension is a 33mm drop, as opposed to the 30mm drop of the SQ5 TDI. My car looks very, very similar to the pictures of the SQ5 TDI

Hrm, I thought the STaSIS was 60mm... Good to know, thanks. :-)

Kris, this looks about right to me eye and these are the SQ5 std 20" wheels are they not? The STaSIS looks pretty good too. Thanks for the pics. Steve

I have driven the SQ5 (the TDI version) and they are much more planted feeling than the standard Q5. For sure the sport diff helped a lot in the car we drove, but back to back the difference was very noticeable.

Having said that, if compared to an S4 Avant, the SQ5 might not feel as crisp, but we didn't have the chance for back to back testing between those cars.

I believe that they are 20", I'd have to check the German spec sheet to be positive.

To me, Suspensiongate is about aesthetics and us North Americans (once again) getting the short end of the stick when it comes to certain Audi models.

The 21" wheels on a regular Q5 suspension just doesn't look right to me.
I look at the SQ5-TDI with those same wheels and it looks more natural.

Those same wheels on the SQ5-TFSI make it look like Bigfoot.

A 1" drop would be perfect IMO, so I will be seeking to install the SQ5-TDI springs if possible.
If not, I will likely go the H&R route that will see a drop of approx. 1.5"
Aesthetically, you're spot on, however given the right stance, a sport wagon/sedan will look sportier than an SUV. I have an S4 now, which I'm planning on trading in for the SQ5 or Macan, not sure yet. I love the stance on my S4, but got tired of jarring ride on progressively worsening pothole city streets, risk of damaging wheels/tires and scraping the underside when pulling in/out of parking lots or gas stations. Unlike sport sedans, SUVs still manage to look very decent with higher profile tires and bigger wheel gap, while being more practical and providing more comfortable ride, higher seating position.
