Hey Folks,

I've replaced ABS module on a Q5 with a good used one, however it's complaining about VIN being incorrect (since module came off different Q5) Anyone know if a used ABS module can be coded to new VIN?

Any input appreciated.

a theft deterrent. If so, dealers generally have to deal with recoding the part.

Update: Went to dealer and they coded used module to my car, took one hour.
