just a suggestion for the newbies or those who don't search. i just notice that there are 0 stickies in the q5 section, which is rare for a forum.

Thought I'd share a feature that don't seem to have been shared in this thread to keep the info centralized.
My favorite and most used VCDS mod would have to be the DIS Efficiency Program screen (enabled by default on the S4 but not on the Q5).

Sample image is in German but it shows up in English on our screens. =)
The DIS Efficiency Program has 3 screens you can toggle that show:
1) Time elapsed since start, Average MPG for the trip, Distance traveled (Favorite DIS page!)
2) Miles until empty, Average MPG for the trip, Instant MPG
3) Fuel consumption rate and what's decreasing it (A/C, heated seats, open windows, etc.)
I've also seen it prompt me to close the windows (or was it to turn off the A/C?) when I had both the A/C on and windows down to improve fuel efficiency.
Anyway, not sure why Audi didn't enable it on the Q5 but can't imagine not having it since it's the screen that we view the most!
Also, I've organized the VCDS changes I've made by control module so that it's easier to keep track of them and re-do them after dealer resets (for a 2010 Q5 P+ w/ NAV. Coding may differ based on equipment levels):
[09 - Cent Elect.] Keep LED DRL's on With Turn Signals
[09 - Cent Elect.] Front Fog Lights stay on with High-beams
[09 - Cent Elect.] Enable Adjustable Ambiance/Background lighting (Foot Lighting) (brightness can be modified via MMI)
[09 - Cent Elect.] Keep LED's at Full Brightness with Parking Lights
[09 - Cent Elect.] Adjust LED Brightness at night (default was only 7% on the Q5 and upped just a little bit to 10% to make it stand out a bit more without being overwhelmingly bright)
[09 - Cent Elect.] Enable Euro Parking Lights
[17 - Instruments] Removing Seatbelt Chime
[17 - Instruments] Enabling Gauge Test/Needle Sweep
[17 - Instruments] DIS with Efficiency Program for MY2010+
[46 - Comfort System] Emergency Brake Flashing Lights
[46 - Comfort System] Operating Windows and Sunroof with Remote
[5F - Information Electr.] Hidden Menu in MMI Navi Plus (3G)
[5F - Information Electr.] Video In Motion
[52 - Door Elect] Enabling reverse mirror tilt on cars without memory seats
[MMI Hidden Menu] CD Ripping
