Couple of questions, anyone know how to post a word document or instructions with pics? Also, is there a way for the car to lock automatically when you walk away fro it?

What about the "winking DRL's"? Or is that a non-issue in Canada?

I did my windows yesterday but I can't get to F5 option due to some sw issues. I will need to take it back to the dealer before I can change the VIM option.

I sent emails out to the Arkansas based VAG-COM folks on the http://www.vagtoolfinder.com/locator.aspx and got no replies. I thought I would go ahead and ask here if anyone around the Arkansas area has the tool and software needed for programming a Q5.

If I were to go ahead and buy one myself it is a HEX-USB+CAN or a HEX-COM+CAN cable that I need for a Audi Q5?

Thanks

Is your laptop really old (COM port) or reasonably new (USB ports)?
That should help you decide if you want the VAG-COM with HEX-USB+CAN or HEX-COM+CAN

cheers,
