Hi guys,
Has anyone found coding for the rear hatching through VCDS (vagcom) to get the rear liftgate (tailgate, hatch - whatever you want to call it!) to close by pressing the button on the remote?
I realize Audi has done this from a safety perspective, but I would love the option to do so, taking my life into my own hands.

You can't. You'll need an aftermarket modular.

OK alternate solution here! Its an experiment that needs to be tested and confirmed!
flash to ground a wire connected to the green and yellow wire going to the left side motor. This should cause the tailgate to close.
All you need to do is run a wire to the front and install a simple push button to close.
Wasnt my idea! Came from Australia!
