Hey all. Been enjoying this forum for a while and reading all I could about the SQ5. You've all been a huge help as I prepared to make this big purchase.

Pulled the trigger on my new ride last week! 2015 SQ5 Premium Plus in Ibis White with Black alcantara interior, high gloss black package, 21" wheels, B&O, technology package. So pumped!

There were no cars in the US with those specs so I have to wait on one from the factory. Delivery will be sometime in March.

As I'm in NYC, I'm a bit worried about the 21" wheels. Potholes, poor roads everywhere, especially in late winter. I had to get them in order to get the high gloss black package, but plan to pick up 20s shortly after delivery. Any advice on either selling the 21s or best bet for picking up nice black 20s?

I feel you, RussQ. Mine that's on order was already ordered exactly like I wanted, but as a dealer inventory car somewhere else in the country, but my dealer snagged it for me. I was told in mid October that it should be here mid-Jan. But as far as the dealer knows, it hasn't been built yet... The wait is killing me.

As for the wheel situation, I would try Craigslist or the marketplace here on the forum to sell your 21s. MIGHT sell better closer to warm weather. Even here in NC I'm contemplating picking up a set of winter wheels/tires after hearing how poorly the stock 21 tires handle in the cold. Doesn't get COLD here very often, but since it's a matter of safety (for me, other drivers, and my CAR), I have started to check craigslist for some Audi wheels that would suffice for a few months of the year.

Hi guys I am planning to get a SQ5 for the wife, how much discount below MSRP did you guys get? My dealer is offering me 3% (he says his full profit is 6% in the SQ5 and I do not know if it is BS or not) and also the loyalty discount for a premium plus with tech package, nappa leather, B&O, carbon and 21s

You should really be running winter tires not rely on the summers, even in March. The 21's and even the 20's come with summer tires, they are pretty worthless in the winter, don't grip well once temps get below 45F and are outright dangerous with snow/ice.

You might want to order a winter setup before your vehicle is delivered and have the dealer put them on before delivery. That way you have a new set of 21's you can sell, the dealer might even be willing to trade you a 20" setup off another SQ5.

I paid $1000 over invoice for my 2014 SQ5 when they first came out. I could not see paying anymore than that since they been out awhile.

Join theAudi Club of North America. ...it costs $50.00 and gets you a 6% discount. You may be able to get the discount just by mentioning it. BTW, I got 7.5% off MSRP last April on a'14 SQ5 bought off the lot.
