Default wake me up when 2.0TFSI Q5 comes to US

like the car, but don't want V6 in it. Not worth extra $$ for me. Would rather get a fullly loaded 2.0 engne. Hope they do it soon.

by now what?

I am serious. This (V6)is an oldie but goodie engine, but I want the 4 cyl TFSI. Newer technology, more efficient and close in performance. Is any other Audi car still using this V6 engine that they put in Q5 for US/Canada only?

I afraid, szuszu, that there will be no charming prince kiss you waik up.
I see this all the time - small engine did fly across the pound.

2L turbo doesn't mean you get better mileage...

I had lighter VW Tiguan 2T 4motion and now I get same mileage with Q5.

Same lesson I learnt with 18 wheelers, sure smaller engine haves better mileage on slower speeds but on highways you have to floor the pedal to keep it moving while with larger engine you don't need to kick it so hard.

I had my fears moving from inline 4 2L T to naturally aspirated 3.2L V6 but now after 6k miles I'm amazed by a Q5, a bit hevier car with larger engine getting same mileage as smaller VW Tiguan.

My mileage values are not computer illusion, I keep log book with miles and gallons used so it is real mileage....

Kleinbus - your avatar shows that you also spend time in Finland. Tell me - would you buy V6 there if it was available or would you go with the 2.0TFSI (let's just keep diesel out for the purpose of this comparo). Just curious before I fall asleep

Finland with their gas price? Q5 with gas engine? NEVER even 2L Turbo and NEVER EVER 3.2L V6 and you don't see V8 as it suicide type action...
(sure some haves American car with V8 as hobby car, but it is only to cruise around mid summer few times and not daily drive)

Though yes you are right with your point, if I couldn't have diesel, only option would be 2L Turbo and if not available then I would buy another brand that haves diesel or in worst case 2L Turbo available.

In Europe all my cars were diesels, I truly miss the diesel torque and would buy diesel VW/Audi over gas engine any time.

With diesel I always had Webasto or Ebersbächer heater and winter mornings it was so nice to have heater on 30 mins and have warm car to go. No window scraping but I had to use 2000 euros to get that freaking burner with remote control and timer...
