I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one. I thought I was being a little **** or crazy. ![Stick Out Tongue](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
I'm only at 1,700 miles, but I will bring up the TSB when I go in for my 5k appt. Hopefully they will have an update to smooth things out.
Cheers.

My new Q has only 264 miles, but I am finding this to be true on mine, too.
Between my home and the traffic light out to the main street, there is a one-and-a-half block of gentle down slope, usually I can let the car drift down at a nice speed without applying brakes or throttle. However, when the car is cold, the tranny keeps intervening, making the car jerk unnecessarily.
The best solution I have found is to switch it to manual mode and control the gear shifts myself. This way I can eliminate almost all of the "roughness".

i think temperature has something to do with it as well...i meant, weather condition....i find that if the weather is hot, then the shifting felt smoother...the quirky shifting doesn't bother me that much, i find the "hissing" sound coming from the passenger rear area (fuel pump) bothers me the most...

Thanks for the info. Although I am not quite certain whether it applies in mine, and the other new owner's case. To wit, my car was built more than two months after the bulletin. I would be very disappointed if Audi had let the car roll off the line with outdated firmware!

had this update applied about 6 weeks ago. thought all was well as the harsh shifting when coming to a stop ended temporarily.
however, about a week after the update. now i notice the 1-2-3 shifting issue. it seems as if when i've just started up the car it is more prevalent. when im "coasting" not pressing gas or break, between short intersections of stop signs for example. its as if the car doesnt know what gear its supposed to be in. really annoying.
im at about 7k miles right now and i am def not happy. was trying to give it more time to adjust after the update(been about 1k miles now), but this thread has me worried.
