Hey guys, just picked up my 2011 Q5 Premium Plus and wanted to get the front windows tinted to match the rear. Does anyone know what % tint to get for the best match? I searched through a bunch of threads and gather that 35% is a little too light while 20% is a bit too dark. What do you guys think?

You should also know that it's not going to ever be a perfect match being that Audi glass has a green tint to it. The rear glass has actually been tinted not a film of tint applied on top of it.

I run 20 in the front, 35 in the rear. I know it sounds crazy, but it actually matches almost perfectly (slightly darker in the rear). The best part is, with the sunroof shade open, it doesn't look that dark. At night you can close sunroof and it looks almost blacked out.
My tint guy is pretty awesome, he had done one other Q5 and used one of the light meters to measure the transparency and it was within 3-5% variation. That being said, I don't remember the brand of film that he used, so results may vary.
