I park my car unlock in the garage when I get home from work. I noticed there are some kind of electric motor sound when opening the driver door to get something in the car later of the night. And, there are follow by some kind "click click click" sound about 10 seconds I close the door (again, unlocked just simply close the door). It didn't happen to the 2011 Q5 loaner car dealer gave me two weeks ago.

Does anyone know what is that electric motor sound and the click sound? I am not worry about anything but just wondering.... Thanks.

If it was sitting for while, if you open the door, it runs the fuel pump to prime the fuel system. Audi programs the car to do this so. This may be what you're hearing.

It is exactly what happened. The sound only appears after the car been sitting for a while and opens door. It must be new because my previous 2004 A4 didn't have this programmed.
