What tire brand/model 18" tires on recent Q5's ?
I just ordered a Q5 so looking at 2+ months for delivery. I'm curious what 18" brand tires has the Q5 been fitted with in the last 2 months?
I don't think I'll be very happy with Dunlops in snow country.
Thanks!

I hope that I get the Bridgestone or Michelin tires, the Dunlops don't have a good rating at all, especially in snow. If I get the Dunlops I need to try and get the dealer to switch or have a tire shop give me a decent price trading them in and getting what I want.

What I'm asking is what tires have recent new Q5 owners actually recieved in the last two months.

Depends what Audi has at its disposal in Ingolstadt.
For the U.S. market more used tires for All-Season
- Summer tires: Bridgestone Duelert HP Sport
- All-Season: Dunnlop Gradntrek Touring, Michelin Latitude Tour HP.
If you have a lot of snow think about winter tires
Good luck

Specific brands really vary (for all I know even cars being built at the same time may randomly get tires from the pool of in-stock tires rather than there being one brand at a time), and in most cases the OEM tires aren't all that great anyway. If you have special needs like snow/ice capabilities, I'd plan on replacing the OEM tires (unless you'd need snow tires in which case the fitted all-seasons would probably be decent enough to use until they wear out). You might be able to work something out with the dealer to sell them the pre-fitted tires and swap in tires of your choice.

At least I have some hope seeing you got Continentals.
I realize that any of the 3 OEM tire types can find their way on my odered car, but it could be Conti's or Michelin's.

Fyi. If ur hoping for michelins cause the snow traction Will be better think again. My q5 came with the michelin lattitude. By far the worse tires in snow( even light) that i have ever had. Like the tires otherwise.
