I'm not overly impressed by it's cooling ability. A soft drink can will not stay cold in it. Never used the heat.

Mine works fine. Kept my water bottle cold for 1200 miles! also keeps coffee hot very well. I like the option myself.

I have only had one chance to use the cold option on a long trip and I thought it worked well. My ice melted but my drink was still cold during a 6 hour drive in 95 degree weather.
