What's the point of the plastic "emergency" key...?
I assume this is a common Audi thing, across multiple platforms.
What's the story with that key, and the associated fob that clicks into the glove box? I've read the instruction manual, so I understand what it DOES, but what is the PURPOSE?

If you lose your key for the car, this one will open the door and also once you stick it in the holder it will start the car as well.

Sure. I get that part. I guess, what I mean is it seems a little counterproductive, unless you keep that plastic piece on you, but separate from the normal key fob. Right?

What Audi needs to do, and I'm surprised that MBZ beat them to the punch, is offer an iOS app to gain entrance to the car, or even find it in a parking lot. I mean, Audi Connect is easily better than the MBZ equivalent.

I pull my trusty plastic key out, slip it in the glove box holder, then how would you start it?
