Mine comes in next week, so will take a picture. The hitch was installed at port last week according to dealer

Sure, that is what I had fitted to my 2011 Q5. No-one was prepared to hook the electronics package up as they are too concerned with fault codes. I am not that brave either. No problem as I only use it for a bike rack. Even that fitted approaches $500.

... or see whether you can intercept one that is at sea and have the bar fitted as a PIO before it hits the dealer.

Just got our 3.0t. I had the hitch installed at port. Cost about $800 or so. I wanted to make sure to have it installed at port so I could avoid the labor charge.
