500 miles + 45 miles remaining..... 2.0 tdi stronic..

35 mpg brim to brim mostly dual carriageway driving with cruise control assist set at 75 mph..

Car only done 1200miles total, expecting it to improve but reasonably happy.

I have seen some reports of people getting 41 mpg.. (imperial)

Regards,

Mark

I get around 19 or so when more city/traffic and got about 26-28 doing highway 75mph or so, but 35 mpg? WOW! 41 mpg - I find that almost too incredible to be true.

It's a 2L turbo diesel with s-tronic. I'm pretty sure 35 mpg is pretty common for those types of engine.

The fuel book says...
19572 miles
890 gallons
total average 22 mpg

Best tankfull was on Sep coming down from Mount Rushmore, at Nebraska and got 513 miles with one tank, once I pulled to gas station, it sucked 20 gallons so it was on fumes. (I try to fill full ga so it is easier to keep log book).

Usually range is 350-400 miles depending flatness/speed/wind conditions.

Sat 7th odo rolled over 20k...
