Usually the name of the manufacturer would be found on the centercap and/or stamped somewhere on the wheel itself. Unless we are talking about cheap chinese replicas, which may not have any marks at all..

Yes, the hub bore of your Q5 is 66.6 mm (not 66.1 as I had previously stated)
Here's someone who sells the rings http://www.summitracing.com/search/D...-Rings/?page=2

Interesting. I didn't know about the aftermarkets not being made to spec as far as bore size goes. Surely some of the nicer ones aren't like that.
I'm glad I ordered OEM now. Just to be on the safe side. I know the spacers that came last week are hub centric. I ordered ECS's and as far as I know they are made to exact spec to match the OEM hubs or so I hope...
Good luck with your problem. Def need to get it corrected purely from a safety standpoint.

The caps on the wheels are audi- my guess is the dealer (before they sold me the car) took off the nice 20" OEM rims that the vehicle came with, and put on black 18" wheels. I will have to take one off to see if there are markings on the inside...
By the way, is there any problem with running 18" wheels on a car that was sold with 20" wheels?

It's the centerbore diamater.
Not a problem as long as the tires are of the correct size and the overall rolling diameter is unchanged.

I was hoping I might be able to help, but I haven't a clue. You might find something on the inside of the wheel to help. I think it's safe to say that whoever made the decision to replace the OEM wheels with those did you no favors, however. Maybe they were intended for winter wheels, and the previous owner realized the OEM wheels were worth something and swapped them when he/she traded? It's a dirty trick, but it happens.
