Wheel alignment after only 10000miles?

I do agree that $250 sounds way too much. My dealer will check my alignment free when I get tires or have any other service happening. Maybe because I have a Porsche and audi from them. And I have purchased several Audis from them over the years. Maybe you need a better dealer relationship.

You see I live in Brownwood TX (majority of the cars/trucks are domestic and nothing as high-tech as Audi)...so i felt uncomfortable having some1 here do alignment on my car.....

$250 is ridiculous for an alignment. Find a shop with decent Hunter equipment, that follows the correct procedure for Audi (for BMW, they put weights in the car first), and you should be fine. I would pay $150 at the most, preferably more like $100.
