We bought 4 tires at Costco with a $60.00 rebate and floor mats as a give away. Ours are 18 inch and I think they are Michelins. We are also buying rims from a dealer here in Montreal, overall we saved alot of money

Ok update.....went to Kal Tire and after choosing my rims and tires and leaving my Q5 there for 4 hours I go to pick it up....ya the hub on the rims wouldn't fit....the whole reason I was avoiding buying online! So then they tried to give me some ugly scrached up rims as a replacement. Meanwhile Audi has yet to receive their 18 inch rims, which should come in this week and cost me $2600+ with tax, these are replica btw not Audi rims.

So back I go to tire rack to find that the rims I wanted are no longer available in the next 2 months at least. Long story short I found some nice 18" OZ rims (on sale) with the pirellis at Tire rack which should set me back $2400 everything in. The phone order took literally 2 mins, hope the rest goes as smooth as I've heard only good things about tire rack.

Anyways sorry for complaining here but my wife was getting tired of me talking about rims and tires

+2

I got my winter tire set from Tire Rack 3 years ago for my B7 S4 Avant and they were perfect and priced right. (They are also for sale since I traded-in the S4 for Q5, but that's 2 more stories). I got Michelin Pilot Alpin PA2 and they are fantastic (I see an earlier thread recommending Alpins and I totally concur from 2 winters experience in very harsh conditions, very wet conditions, and very dry conditions)

I stuck a set of the Yokohama Parada Spec X on my S-Line wheels (we don't really get that much snow in Seattle) this past weekend. Tire Rack had them for $132 a piece. Ended up getting them from Discount Tire at the same price locally.

I'll let everyone know how they do heading up to Mt Baker next weekend.

Please do, I'm looking at picking these up to replace the stock summer tires.
