Didn't make it to Mt Baker today but went to Stevens Pass instead. It was pretty awesome and the q5 handled the snow like a champ. I definitely recommend the Yokohama Parada Spec X's if you aren't looking for a full winter tire. Drove on areas of packed snow, slush and heavy snow coming down on wet roads.

Here are some pictures of my setup. Waiting for snow in Toronto.

These are Ronal Como. Tires are Dunlop 3Ds.

I had my tires and mags installed last week and gosh it looks good, the mags are impressive I have to admit. I love washing the new mags as well with all that carbon dust *sigh* the original ones take sooooo long. My only compliant about the Q5, washing the mags cause they get dirty fast and look dirty

Default My winter wheel setup

I'm quite happy with the deal I got through Tire Rack.
Rims: 18x8 Sport Edition F9 Bright Silver (each $130.00)
Tires: 235/60R-18 Bridgestone Blizzak DM-Z3 (each $115.00)

Time to let those 19" babies have a rest!
(Lots of rain here in the Northeast, but no complaints, temperatures are very mild!)

These are the exact same tires on our Q5, except we got 18" tires and bought 18" mags (very nice actually) and everything installed, taxes in was under 2,000.00.

We bought 4 tires at Costco with a $60.00 rebate and floor mats as a give away. Ours are 18 inch and I think they are Michelins. We are also buying rims from a dealer here in Montreal, overall we saved alot of money
Shelby are you sure these are your Tires in 18" ????
Michelin® Latitude® Alpin® HP
