I found a Tune2Air in my glovebox when I bought the Q5 last fall. It does OK streaming music that's on my phone, and yes it will stream Pandora or other audio from the phone/iPod, but the MMI display while streaming is terrible. My Passat gave me a nice display with a progress bar, artist and title, but the Q5 MMI only shows the title, and all other display options are useless. Also, if you stop the car with Pandora playing, it will not resume playback when you start back up. Again, the VW would do that.
I realize the MMI display is at a handicap, since the Bluetooth streaming isn't being handled natively. But just be aware that while it works, the Tune2Air just barely acceptable for online streaming. Since my MMI Jukebox has all the music that my phone contains, it's simpler to just play it from there or from an SD card. I've never experienced the MMI with a newer car that supported Bluetooth streaming, so perhaps these observations no longer apply.
