Reminds me again of how great the interiors of our cars really are... Fit, finish, connectivity, overall appearance -- can't be beat. And that is where I spend 95% of my time with my car is on the inside.

Question is asked about a Lexus on an Audi forum.

Of course I expect biased answers lol.

Some people prefer Lexus and will buy that. I know I love my German cars so I too am biased.

I'll give credit to any car that looks good.

Not a bad job by Lexus, but the new one looks very bulky and frumpy, IMO. Just a little too much going on at once.

You can over-compensate by going for too much style. There's only so many slashes and swoops you need to put on a car.

Not the crisp and clean lines of the Q5. The refresh on the Q5 looks very good.

I just don't find all that bling (outside and in) appealing at all - one reason that we went with classy lines of the Audi vs Acura - and I like the Acura design aesthetic way better than whatever is going on with the Lexus - I find it a mess really (ok this is an Audi forum but that Lexus is a seriously confusing piece of design to my eyes).

I love German cars interior design, they are simple and yet elegant... from MB to BMW to AUDI.
Japanese intend to design their interior to be fancy and techi, I think that's their only way to compete with the Germans is to make their interior fancier.
