Map 3+0 on mine is a lot more controlled as well, but it has a lot less power as well and It doesn't pull as hard (butt dyno only). It's the initial engagement that is an issue for me. I have no issues with the Active Autowerke on my BMW (using similar technology).

I would have no issues with it on the track, but as a daily driver, it's not overly predictable.

Not a lot less power on mine. It comes on sooner and pulls very hard. Feels more like a Porsche now. Easy throttle it’s smooth and controlled. Full throttle better hang on!

3+0 has to have less power than 3+3. Those extra 7 settings governs the amount of extra boost (aka HP) the engine is allowed to product.

Regardless, DTUK is really rough around the edges. As soon as Burger has the Audi JB4 on the market, I'll be swapping mine.

I have to agree. The DTUK unit is better than nothing, but far from refined. I do not even have my tuner module turned on right now. And I only use map 3-0 at the track. I do use my Pedal Box almost daily though! I am waiting for all the Beta testing to be finished with the Burger JB4 unit and may go that route next.

3-0 will give you better track times since it won't stumble on the gear shifts. I tend to just do short jabs in one gear (accelerate into traffic, at a traffic light, etc), so I prefer the extra boost/power in each single gear, and am willing to accept the stumble if I don't get off the throttle, during shifts.

I agree. I turn the tuner on for the track and will probably only run map 3-0. My game plan for the next time I go to the track is to turn the tuner module on earlier in the day and let the vehicle adjust. Then I am going to run a few baseline runs with it on at the track. Finally, I plan to try and manually shift down the track for a few runs and short shift at 6000 rpm. Burger said that helped in his beta testing on an S4 a little given the smaller turbo size on our B9's.

New member here. In a 2018 SQ5 as of this week, out of a series of C63 AMG's.

I have to think this is worth a try. APR Is very well known and respected, this product is quite new I believe.

My apologies if this has been discussed already.

That's a lot of dough for 17ft-lbs of torque. It is a tune vs piggback, but doesn't seem worth it for $1900US (my opinion…).

There is also a warranty included. Peace of mind.

2k is a pretty hefty price tag for sure, but...here in Canada, a fully loaded SQ5 is $80,000. 2k is not that much in comparison, but 80k is too large an investment for many to be willing to play with their warranty. A replacement warranty might go a decent ways to easing that worry.
