Default 2nd Set of Audi OEM Wheels

Does Audi sell their OEM wheels apart from new vehicles? I am waiting on a 2018 Q5 that is equipped with 20” wheels but as I’m in Canada I also want a dedicated set of 18” wheels for winter tires. I can’t see the standard 18” wheels listed for sale anywhere on the Audi website. Is this because the 2018 Q5 is relatively new or does Audi not sell the standard OEM tires as standalone accessories?

Assuming OEM isn’t an option, any third-party recommendations for 18” wheels?

Yes you can request they order them, but only if they are made for the Q5. Audi won't install or let you order things not intended for your car. Go in and ask their parts dept I'm sure they will have no problem ordering them.

Lots of options out there. The dealer will likely be pretty expensive compared to what you can get from a reputable tire place. You can often find knock-offs that look great at a much lower price. That is what I have done with my bmw and intend to do for our MKII Q5. I have not shopped around yet as we're a little away from that time of the year here in southern ontario and my OEM all weathers will be ok in case we get some crazy early snow this year. Let us know how you make out.

I'm not sure what they offer for 18", but I am going to get their winter rim and tire package for my Q5 with 19" rims. They provide 17" alloy rims and Michelin X-ice Xi2 tires. I figure the dealer is a bit more expensive but for these tires and decent rims I would be just as much elsewhere.

To the OP, I don't know which dealer you use but either one of them will charge 2x as much as buying "non-Audi" wheels. You can figure on paying somewhere in the neighbourhood of $550-600/wheel whereas as a tire shop will charge $250-300 for a good wheel. You may want to contact a company like Fastech to see what they can do for you. Using Audi wheels for the winter is not a good value proposition.

I was in at a local tire place getting new Nokians on the other car and asked about their options for the Q5. I got the same Pirelli Scorpion Winter 17" the dealer is offering and some nice gun metal alloy rims (should look nice with the Grey car) for about $1000 less, plus their storage is $30 less per season. I cancelled my order with the dealership.
