Back up camera
I have had 2 Q5's but my last 3 cars have been Mercedes. My wife purchased a Q5 about 4 months ago and the backup camera display seems really dull.
I don't know if this is normal and I am just used to the Mercedes camera or not. Brightness is on highest setting and lense has been cleaned.
What are your thoughts?

With VCDS, you can access the 6C-Backup Camera controller and change Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, and Hue to you preferences. I did this to my A6, but found the stock settings to be pretty good already.

You are not alone, I always complain how horrible the camera on our Q5 is (we have '19). After my '16 VW GTI, the camera on Q5 sucks. Like you said, there is no detail at all.
Also when it rains, the camera is useless. On GTI, it was hidden and always stayed dry.

I did read that you said your brightness is on the highest setting. However I am posting to make sure your dash light dimmer switch is turned up because the backup display will dim with all the other dash lights if it is not set to the brightest setting as well. Just a thought, Dave
