I agree. The MMI readout on mine is always at least 1 MPG higher than I actually measure. That's why I started using Fuelly back when I was driving my Passat TDI. I used VCDS to adjust the VW to make it pretty accurate. I haven't been able to do the same with the Q5. Of course, I can pull out of my garage (uphill) and drive to my daughter's house (still uphill) and the MMI begins at 15 MPG average, even though I know it hasn't seen better than 10 all the while going uphill. Pretty worthless MPG display.
