BTW let me know how the up is down button goes, my '18 SQ5 has always randomly done it and the '15 Q5 I had before did it too so I have just learned to live with it.

My driver side window is much more randomm while for some reason, the passenger side window does it almost every time; "so I got that going for me" insofar as being able to duplicate it when I take it in. I can live with the rear windows having this issue. Prolly will attempt to get those three fixed prior to expiration of the warranty in about 15k miles.

Default Can you say class action?

Audi and Google need to be brought to the consumer level! Shun a half-million consumers. Perhaps it could be fraud or false advertising or failure to provide a product.

You can see this notice yourself if you go to the Audi Q5 website and click the View Key Info (direct link to notice) link under the "Audi Virtual Cockpit section.

What strikes me as strange is that the notice says "will not be available" instead of "may not be available", which leads me to believe that their agreement already has an end-date and Audi has chosen (prematurely) not to renew in 2020. Of course, it preempts the statement saying the services are subject to change at any time. Either way, it's something to be aware of 3 years from now.[/QUOTE]

Just got our '18 A5 updated. It went from version 0918 to 1316, quite a jump. Last week my SQ5 went from I think 1308 to 1316

Got my update this afternoon. Maybe my imagination, but it seems like the 3-D scroll is choppier. And there’s a title at the top in fine print. Something like “U.S. Geological Survey.” Slightly annoying but I can get used to it.

So I got in the A5 today that was updated two weeks ago and it said that my Satellite Map subscription had expired even though the rest of my Audi Connect subscriptions were fine. Also after the update I was clearly getting the Maxar maps. Just to be safe I checked my SQ5 and it shows the correct expiration for maps and other services. I guess I'll be calling them Monday.

Any 2018+ Q5 with Qualcomm head unit should be able to get a software update to re-enable satellite view with active Audi Connect subscription.
