How can I track delivery of my new Q5?

Our new Q5 is being built in Mexico and being shipped to Rhode Island. It is supposed to arrive in mid August, but I would like to get more accurate info if possible. How do you go about tracking the progress of the car? The only info I have right now is the VIN. Thanks!

Best of luck with tracking your Q5's. My Q5 is currently somewhere. Dealer provided a ship's name which allowed me to track it however once I did it was too late and the ship was returning back to Mexico.
My location is east coast Australia so shipments go via Japan through US west coast then off loaded and then reloaded on a Japan to Australia voyage.

Thanks for the link to that thread. SCarGuy was very generous to do all that tracking. I was looking for a web site where we might be able to track the progress (some other manufacturers have this feature, I think). Bottom line: the car will get here when it gets here. ;-)
