Default Is the rear cup holder removable?

Anyone know how to remove the cup holder in the rear center pull down armrest? I’ve tried pulling it out but no go.

My kids dropped some food between the housing and the cup holder. Now the cup holder lid won’t close.

Thanks!

It does come out. Not easily though. Mine jammed up from some debris. I pulled on it straight up firmly from the edges with it closed. Like most things that fight once you get a edge up and work your way around it starts to cooperate. There are some one way tabs on it that you will need to keep an eye on. It doesn't really want to come out but will with some persuasion and goes back in. Just watch fabric around around the edges to see whats pulling up.
