Funny you say that because I have felt the same way for a long time. Audi is the only brand I've every driven and I absolutely love them, but after 10+ years with Audi, I broke down and got my first BMW. While there are so many things I love about my Audi, I have to say I am pleasantly surprised with the BMW. Granted it's a not exactly a fair comparison between the Audi and BMW, there are definitely things Audi does better and vice-versa. Still would never buy a Benz though!!!

Absolutely. Although I've always had an itch for a C43 AMG. But that transmission shifter was always off-putting.

Still hoping to hear what Sandroad chooses to replace the Audi.

BTW, we've owned a 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV since new and it is by far the best local use vehicle we've ever owned. The Q5 sits for weeks at a time because both of us much prefer the Bolt.

jack vines, who thinks the Q5 is a very good road trip vehicle, but certainly not the ne plus ultra.
