sometimes while driving the windshield wipers will twitch at the bottom of the windshield. Very subtle and very quick, but it makes a noise and the wiper motor definitely activates. (Not a full sweep though) seems to be consistent when the heat is on but also happens at other times. Anyone else? Will be hitting service Monday

Many (all?) Audis do this. There's nothing to correct, fix or repair. I think they've programmed this in so the rubber on the wiper blade isn't always parked in the same position.
It seems like it occurs every third on/off cycle of the engine.

would agree with the frequency...just very strange. '18 Q7 that I picked up last week doesn't do it, '16 Q5, '12/'08/'04 A4's never did unless I was that oblivious (certainly could be the case) - or its just amplified with whatever crappy wiper blade they used on the SQ5.

I've had my Q5 for 6 months and it has only been in the past month, around 5500 miles, that the wipers have done this twice. It definitely is not synchronized with the number of engine starts.

The windshield wipers on my '18 Q5 will very quickly "twitch" semi-regularly at the bottom of the windshield (in their "parked" position) and when it happens it only occurs at the moment I shut off the engine. I always assumed it was caused by a system software glitch or a misbehaving BCM reacting to the engine/power being suddenly shut off. I never imagined this intermittent wiper twitch was programmed-in purposely to keep the wiper blades from becoming "stuck" in their parked position.
