Squeaky breaks

Long time lurker, first time posting!
Bit the bullet and bought an my18 sq5, it now has ~1100km and I'm loving it.
However, I've noticed 2 things which is kinda annoying.
1. Breaks are VERY noisy, they have a high pitch squeak when breaking lightly and a 'clunk' sound when releasing the break.
2. I can hear liquid dropping onto metal after driving the vehicle.
Will take it to the dealership in 2 weeks for the 'break in check up'
Just wondering if anyone else has had similar issues

i had this same issue on my Q7. Dealer inspected the brakes and told me the brakes and "functioning properly". They tried a couple of things but nothing worked. I finally decided to pull the trigger on ceramic rotor/pads upgrade. Pricey, but problem solved and no issues going forward.

My SQ5 brakes groan immediately before full stop, most notably in stop and go traffic. It doesn't bother me enough to raise a stink and I'm sure it's within normal operating parameters. They certainly feel good otherwise and never squeal.

My SQ5 does the same exact thing. Groans immediately before coming to a stop, and also if I move forward with light pressure on the brakes. No squealing sounds though. It never really bothered me that much but sometimes passengers will comment about the noise.
