Default Where do you put jack stands?

I just went to swap my winter wheels for summer wheels but I'm unsure about where a safe and secure place is for placing a jack stand. The exposed area of the frame indicated by the triangle marking on the sill is only about 6 inches long and my hydraulic jack takes up all of that space. Is there a recommended location for placing the jack stand? Due to the design of both my jack and jack stands I can only get them within about 8 inches of each other. Surely there is another spot that is safe to use other than the small area that is indicated, but with all the soundproofing/aerodynamic underbody cladding I couldn't find an obvious location.

I don’t know of any other place to put a jack stand. I swapped my winter tires one at a time Without a jack stand. I blocked the Floor Jack with 2x4’s so that it couldn’t accidentally collapse.

I havnt had a reason to get the jack under my sq5 yet, but there is typically going to be a sub frame that you can lift the entire front/rear with and get stands under both sides
Car isnt infront of me now to check, but have a look

The novel idea of reading the manual where it tells you where to put the jack will be helpful for you. P354

Your condescension is exceeded only by your ignorance. Thanks for taking the time to reply to a question without even reading it.

Or you can just use the factory jack that fits perfectly and there’s no issue.

The issue is the OP wants to use jack stands and cannot simultaneously jack at the jacking point and place a jack stand there. I'm sure you can jack at certain points of the subframe or suspension. I have to research this and get back to you. I have not yet had to jack up my SQ5.

I would like to know also. I took a quick look and besides the place where it's listed in the manual, I couldn't see an obvious place to place a jack stand while lifting with a floor jack.
