Hi,
The other week I had the yellow air suspension and green light come on sporadically on my Q7 2013 S line 3.0 - Then the yellow light stayed permanently on ----- I had the computer read and the only fault that came up was - G290 - Compressor temperature sender - in the fault memory of the control unit -j197 the fault shut-off due to overheating - 001 upper limit surpassed - was stored ....... No other fault. I have changed the air suspension relay (passenger side box top of bonnet) and yesterday put a new temperature sensor on --- the yellow light is still on ---- I don't have a computer/software to clear the fault but do I need to -? will the light go off if fixed ???? If this does not solve the problem does anyone have any ideas what is wrong ? I have put the suspension in lift mode over night and every wheel is still the same height the next morning - the air compressor seems to be working 100% -- so I'm confused ...... Any ideas ??? Thanks kj

Try to get it in a vag diagnostic tool and clear the code, Ive had mine overheat once or twice on really hot days in dynamic mode driving spiritedly.. I find the code in my log, but no lights on dash and everything worked fine.. mebe triggers once or twice a year, usually when its triple digits outside or if I was showing it off and changing height constantly and duty cycle of pump went too high.
Look online for vag-com/vcds registries, due to VW's always having CEL's on theres a small army of ppl across country who make these tools available in exchange for just beer or a handshake.
