Brake pad light reset

Hi all,
I have just replaced all brakes and sensors with genuine Audi parts. However the brake pad warning light is still on. I assumed it would self-extinguish but no luck.
Has anyone got an idea how to reset? What are the required codes?
Cheers

You must have a open in the circuits - check your electrical contacts at the wiring off the pads. Also check your fluid level in the brake reservoir

You may also want to try getting a very, very small screwdriver, a paperclip, and some electrical cleaner to clean up the connections. I made blank plug-ins for mine, but the light still wouldn't go off. Turned out the connections were so corroded there just wasn't contact.

Thanks everyone.
So to confirm - I have to do nothing with the VAG. The light should go out by itself with new sensors. Is this right?
I'll take a look at the connections....

OK thanks. Tried everything - even got the old sensors, cut and twisted the 2 wires to short them out and plugged them in. The brake warning still comes on and soon as I engage a gear - not when I press the brake pedal.
I guess I have to go to Audi and get the computer plugged in - very frustrating.

When I did my pads, I forgot to plug in one of the sensors. As a result, I had the brake pad light on. VAG gave no indication of any problem. I just had to find the open circuit, which in my case, was an unplugged sensor.
I don't think the Audi computer will show you much, if anything.
