After speaking with my dealer in So. Cal...it's pretty clear that q7's are in limited supply, especially TDI prestige and they are NOT discounting. You want the ice silver, S-Line Prestige TDI with 21's sitting on the showroom floor?

Be prepared to pay sticker.

He told me he already turned down $500 off..That was a 2 weeks ago.

Car is already sold. There are enough people looking for these cars that dealers are holding the line.

They will give away A3/A4/A5...They are not giving away loaded q7's when they get them every few months.

Just not happening here.

Doesn't mean that you cant get a deal on an ordered car but I think the odds of walking in and get the car you want off the floor for $500 over invoice is not an easy task.

I could be wrong but I am in retail and understand completely where they are coming from.

I ended up ordering mine back in August using the Amex Zag pricing at $700 over invoice. It's going to ship 11/12/2010 and due to port on 11/22/2010. 2011 TDI Prestige S-Line w/ Tow and Adaptive Air. Daytona Gray.

Thanks to Aggie 88, I ordered mine thru AMEX/ZAG as well, a week ago at $800 over invoice. The dealer said it should take about 12 weeks, so I am looking at late Jan/ Early Feb 2011.

Dealer took $3000 off MSRP when I purchased my 2011 S-Line Prestige. I asked for their Costco deal, and they said they had not yet received Costco pricing for 2011, offered me $3K off. I thought that was fair, and now it's in my garage.

I used the USAA Zag pricing. The dealer was offering invoice for the 2010s and was willing to extend the same on a 2011.

Price of the car (without 6% tax and $190 for tags) was $57,373. We also had a $2,000 owner loyalty for our 2005 A6.

Long story short, price was $55,373 tax and tags - got 2.4% through Audi Financial for 48 months.

Default Shop around

I ordered my 2011 back in June/ 1K down without pricing. Once we got about 30 days out locked it in for about 1K over invoice price. Then I got the owner loyalty for 2K off and they through in the audi care package. 2011 Q7 Prestige package TDI. I don't know, I am happy with the price but this is the 9th audi I have owned A4, A6, A8 TT' etc.. Plus my dealer sells Porsche as well and they service mine. I will echo the other guy.. They seem to be selling rather well so far.. I waited 4 months. Pic was in the showroom at delivery

$500 over invoice. Initially dealer offered me $1200 off sticker. Brought up AMX pricing and they met it @ $500 over invoice in a heartbeat. subtract $2000 audi loyalty from that and another $500 for being member of Audi club of NA and I was told its the deal of the century by the the salesgirl who no longer works there. Im happy with it. Especially since the car wasnt even built at the time of negotiations
