I had many cars since I've moved to US and always used highest grade
Even 5.7L 1990 caddy fleetwood brougham

Don't bother. The 3.6 runs like crap on 87 also. 93 changes everything!

agree completely. UK is paying MUCH MUCH more, and they ain't complaining, however still i want TDI!

Actually, shy pay $.40 more per gallon, as others have stated, there is no discernable difference between the fuels. Car runs tha same either way.

Default if US will consume 10% less fuel, oil prices will drop 50%

just start doing something. Make your houses more effectively keeping heat in winter to burn less mazut, use diesel in light trucks vs gas V8, use more wind and solar enegry. But sometimes it looks like US government likes high oil prices (being sponsored by Exxon/Mobil/Texaco/etc?)
