Calling out to the guys that have installed this:
- I just received my package today.
Question:
The LED light has a yellow and white pair of wires each joint in the middle. I also have a ballast for each
- if i look at the connectors the colors don't match up.
- If i were to connect the ballast to the LED light then yellow plugs to white and white plugs to yellow
- Now i haven't opened up the light on my Q7 yet, so the question is:
Does the ballast only plug to the LED or does it plug to the car and the colors would match over there some where?
Thanks for the help

just connect the wires to the ballast the wrong way around mine were also colorored incorrectly. now the ballast does not connect to the car however, what you do is take your turn signal bulb out(just push it down and turn one way or the other and it will come out) and for the parking light just pull the bulb out and thats it. yo got yourself a cool looking new pair of turn signals. now the parking light does not go off when you switch he turn signals on but at night the turn signals are still fully visible or so i hope

I'l going to install this Sunday. Have you tried q7mofo mod of turning them to actual DRL lights?
q7mofo mentioned he rewired and recoded and the LED is always on. I'm going to attempt this also.

So just purchased a Q7 (haven't even taken delivery yet) and wanted to bump this post back up to ask which ebay seller is the best one to buy from? There are so many options out there for these lights.

I mistakenly replaced my old Bi-Xenon lights with AFS (curve option part# 4L0 941 004 H) to a non AFS headlight with LDR part (4L0 941 004 AK) and now I have been able to get rid of the error on the dashboard about the adaptive defective lights. I tried the headlight adjustments on the module 55 - Xenon Range (described here :: a4mods.com :: - The Premiere Audi A4 Modification Guide and Pictures Library) but after pressing 'Go' in the group 1 I got 'Adjustment' 'Invalid' 'Adjustment' 'Not possible'. I gave up and tried just to get rid of the error by removing the fuse of the 'headlight control range' and the error is still there. Do you think that the only option would be to buy another set of headlight with AFS (part numbers ending on AL)? Thanks in advance for all your help.
