We have a Q7 4.2P (wife is lucky to drive this) that has Audi Care which covers scheduled service as I understand it. We had the first service done at 5k miles I believe. We are now fast approaching 10k miles. The car is telling us to bring it in for service. One area dealer told us not to bring it in and that it is not an important service. They claim we should wait for the 15k mile service as that is all that is covered by Audi Care. The other dealer says we should bring it in; that the service while not complicated, is important.

This 10k mile serviceis not covered under Audi Care and I cannot find the documentation that states it as required. I would prefer not to jump through hoops changing car seats etc. with a loaner if it is not necessary. At the same time, I don't want to neglect proper maintenance.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

I think the next interval is 15K. Bring in at 12.5 and ask them to do it early if you're concerned

either live with it or swing by the dealer and have them reset it. It doesn't need service until 15k.
