I only get just over 10,000 miles out of a set of four tyres. This is not acceptable. They can use the weight argument until the cows come home and I won't believe a word of it. My Range Rover was just as heavy and followed the same routes with the same drivers [my wife mostly] and with the same driving style and with just about the same size tyres. The original GoodYear tyres wore out on the RR at 35000 miles. I will have worn three sets out on the Audi in the same milage.
There is something very wrong with the Quattro system used on these cars.
