Hi everyone,

Our q7 has recently started giving us some issues with the trunk hatch. When we close the hatch it appears that it latches and then the left side is pushed back out. Usually about 1/2" further then the right side and if we don't unlock the hatch and close it manually we can't lock the vehicle.

Has anyone else had this issue?

common problem, the spring in the latch is broken and needs to be replaced.
search the forum, has been brought up before.

Thanks xlr8it. I removed the striker found the spring broken, I was able to replace the spring and were good to go!
