There is another thread started by a TDI order - so I wanted to start a clean thread for those who are getting (or thinking about getting) a gas 2011 Q7.
First off, I have been told that gas models should be coming into the U.S. about mid-August.
Second, what are people more interested in? The 272hp Premium & Premium Plus(PP) or the 333 hp S LIne Pretige?

Did the date change from what you were told when you ordered? I ordered in mid-June as well and as of last week, it was still on for early September.

I think they made it a bit too stiff on the D4 :-( Even on comfort my wife asks if I have set it to dynamic sometimes.
I lowered her Q7 with links and 45mm front and back was a little too much - I swear my fillings are coming loose! I won't be doing it to that level on the new one. I don't believe the 2011 model has any major changes in the suspension, but we're generally happy with the ride on the Q7 considering its weight, 21 inch wheel size and how hard you can push it sometimes and it still handles like a big car.

Looks like the date has slipped. In production now, shipping Sept 10 and at the dealer first of October.
Orders placed now have several months wait time. Salesman tells me there has been a surge of orders - probably the new engine/trans with promises of better MPG.
