2011 q7 21" panited black
I was wondering if anyone has painted their 21" q7 wheels black. I'm awaiting my ordered vehicle. I ordered the same vehicle as "AudiInSav" a black on black 3.Ot sline minus the side step.
Wanted to get your thoughts on the look of wheels with the set up or should i just keep the wheels the stock color? Any photoshoppers out there able to change the below picture with black wheels.

Unless you have the ability to strip all the protective coatings, and put on the correct finishes to protect from weather, corrosive brake dust and the elements, I would strongly recommend not painting those your self. The wheels typically have a overcoat, and paint will not adhear.

I personally would stick with the stock color. The 21's make the Q7 look very agressive and match up perfectly with the running boards.

AudiInSav thanks for the Photoshop. I think your right about sticking with orginal set up. I'm just not use to silver colored wheels. I've always had a darker colored wheel set up. Like with my e60 BMW m5 I had a set of the m6 wheel which was a high polished wheel with a contrast of gray. The m6 wheel was similar looking in color as the old 21" q7 sline wheel. AudiInSav how u liking the q7 compared to ur m5 which I noticed with your collection of you tube videos?

Odd the the dealer/your source did not have them avail in Black? I've seen a 2011 A4 and a TT at my local dealer with black on black set up, no Q7 though. The look is very cool and OEMish, they were more of a flat black - powder coat type, (using 2007-2010 Q7 S-Line version). Just think this would be avail?
However, a couple trips around the block will get you the home made "Gun Metal Brake Dust look!" For me, Silver on Dark Grey look.
