I picked up my 2011 Q7 TFSI Mugello blue s line sport on Saturday with the 333 HP engine option, but the dealer delivered the vehicle with the standard 20" 5 spoke all season wheels that come with the standard s line. The dealer claims the manufacturer of the wheels went out of business and the 21" wheels and performance summer tires are no longer available. I think someone screwed up.

They offered me $1000 back but I am not happy. I just paid $2600 tp buy winter wheels because the s line sport only came with performance summers. Anyone heard this before?

I heard from my local dealer that the 21" wheels are on backorder for 21 weeks. Makes sense with what you are saying.

Can you clarify? So you ordered 21's But got 20's with summer rubber?

Does your Q have those small flares above the fenders and quarter panels that only comes on the ones with 21's?

Yep I think you got parkayed. May be a true story, but $1000 doesnt cover it. You need to see if the flares are installed like 98a said. Those pieces are over $3000 when ordered seperately thru dealer. About $1900 or so online.

What really? The sheet-metal is different or they are add-ons? I got 21's on both my 08 and '11 and only notice some differences in the trim.

I don't have any flares above the fenders and quarter panels either. Not only that, but my steering wheel is the 3 spoke s line but is missing the s line badging at the bottom of the steering wheel.

They gave me the 20" standard 5 spoke s line wheel with the all season tires.
